The property has been finished to the highest standard throughout, with an open-plan living space flooded with natural light and uninterrupted views of the sea. A gate from the terrace opens directly onto the promenade. On clear evenings the sunsets across the bay are among the finest in Wales.
What's included: electricity, heating, WiFi, bed linen and towels are all included in your stay, along with a welcome pack to help you settle in on arrival. There are no hidden extras beyond the security deposit and, for shorter stays close to arrival, the balance payment outlined at booking.
We've been staying in holiday lets for about five years now, and both my wife and I agree — Venedotia has been the best of them all. That's no small compliment. Everything about the place was first class — from the incredibly comfortable bed to the well-thought-out living room setup, it all just worked perfectly. Becky was a fantastic host, offering great tips on local restaurants and amenities.
Beautiful location where the mountains meet the sea. Plenty of options on foot or by steam train to explore this exceptional part of Wales. Property was very well equipped and very clean. The sound of the waves and sunsets were both a stunning bonus!
Absolutely stunning home, right on the beach. Wonderful place to stay, had everything we needed with two young children. Becky was absolutely brilliant, her and her husband went above and beyond — can't recommend this place enough.

Venedotia has 1 private parking space directly at the property. Both bedrooms, the bathroom, kitchen and living space are on the first floor, reached by an internal staircase — there is no lift or step-free access. The terrace gate opens straight onto the promenade with a short, level walk to the beach. If you have specific accessibility needs, do get in touch before booking and we'll do our best to advise.

Tywyn beach stretches for miles in both directions; at low tide you can walk the entire coastline south to Aberdyfi village. Keep an eye on the water in summer — Cardigan Bay's resident bottlenose dolphins are regularly spotted from this stretch of coast.
The Talyllyn Railway station is five minutes' walk — board a steam train through the stunning Fathew Valley to Dolgoch Falls. The award-winning Magic Lantern Cinema is a short stroll into town. Two of Tywyn's most-loved restaurants — Proper Gander and Salt Marsh Kitchen — are within easy walking distance, along with local favourite Millie & Sids and the seafront Victorian Slipway.
Cadair Idris is 20 minutes by car — Wales's most dramatic mountain. Watch RAF jets scream through the valleys at the Mach Loop (25 minutes), or head to Aberdyfi for sailing, golf and harbourside dining.
